My vision for Selman Intermediate is to create a learning environment that facilitates personal growth for not only students, but also for parents and staff. We provide a challenging academic curriculum which encourages students to raise their expectations for personal learning and academic growth. We also will provide enrichment activities to nurture the whole child through field trips, guest speakers, enrichment clubs, DARE, Junior Achievement, and various other activities which promote students’ personal growth.

 

As parents and educators, we all have the same goal for our children: building strong citizens who are socially and academically prepared to thrive in an ever-changing society. A partnership between schools and communities is critically important to ensure the success of the children they serve. I encourage you to get involved with our campus. You are always welcome at Selman Intermediate. Come visit, volunteer, join the PTA. We need your support, and more importantly our children do. Our goals are common, so I encourage you to become involved and share in the most important investment of our future: the children of Maggie B. Selman Intermediate.
